20bhp more powerful than the SV, the SVJ hits 60mph from rest in just 2.6 sec, going on to a 217mph max. Surprisingly, despite the extra power and slightly lighter weight, these figures hardly improve on the performance of the 'standard' SV.

But the SVJ is all about aero! Lamborghini regained the Nurburgring lap record for the fastest true production car from arch rivals Porsche, with a stunning lap time of just under 6m 45s. This is in part thanks to Lamborghini's second gen ALA system enhancing the SVJ with state of the art aerodynamics. The introduction of 4-wheel steering, 4-active suspension and a huge downforce rear wing also plays their parts.

Prices have been set around the £400k mark, but budget more for the special run of just 63 anniversary editions, to celebrate the year in which Lamborghini began building road cars.
