Celebrating the 50th anniversary of both the GT-R marque and the Ital Design styling house, the GT-R50 signals a collaboration of Japanese engineering and Italian flair.
Based on Nissan's GT-R Nismo, the 50's twin-turbo V6 has been boosted to 700bhp through the use of racing spec components. No details on performance have been released, but expect 200mph+ and nose bleed acceleration and cornering.
The disctinctive gold accented lowered body is a striking design, complete with adjustable dampers, pop-up rear wing, LED strip lighting and lightweight 21 inch carbon fibre wheels. The sporty alcantara interior is trimmed to match.
If reaction is favourable, Nissan may produce a limited production run of 50 completely bespoke vehicles. Unfortunately the price would be somewhere in the region of £1 million - must be all that gold!
