The legendary Shelby brand introduced their new take on Ford's Mustang with the 2018 Super Snake.
Firstly, the Ford Mustang's 5-litre V8 is supercharged to an impressive 710hp. The optional second stage is to add a bespoke exhaust system, liberating the full 800bhp. In this guise, the Super Snake sprints to 60mph in just 3.5 seconds, accompanied by a superloud engine note all the way.
A great new bodykit with enhaced double front splitter, side skirts ear wing and diffuser, improve on both cooling and aero. Custom 20 inch alloys with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres complete the picture.
A 5-litre Mustang costs just £38k in the UK. The Shelby Super Snake retails at £107k. This means a conversion cost of almost £70k which, despite the awesome 800bhp car you will end up with, seems an awful lot of money to pay.
