Produced as a joint venture between Audi and Porsche, the 1994 RS2 Avant has the distinction of being the first Ausi to wear the fabled RS badge.
Based on the Audi 80 estate, the 5-cylinder 20 valve motor was turbocharged to produce 311bhp. 0-30mph took an astounding 1.5 sec, with 60mph arriving in just 4.6 seconds, then onto a limited 163mph max. These were supercar humbling figures back in 1994.
To justify it's 'RS' badging, both brakes and suspension were enhanced by Porsche. 17 inch Porsche alloy wheels completed the visual picture.
