The new C7 Corvette is the match for any European rival for looks, dynamics and performance, and undercuts them all on price.
The mighty 755hp supercharged V8 blasts the ZR1 to 60mph in just 2.8 seconds, then on to a 212mph+ max, and comes with either a 7-speed manual or 8-speed paddle shift auto transmission.
Standard kit included Brembo 6-piston ceramic brakes, magnetic ride control and performance exhaust (with four selectable modes). Options include competition bucket seats and the track performance pack (which adds carbon fibre wing, splitters and Sport Cup 2 tyres).
Interior trim is right up to date with all the kit you will ever need, centered around a 4G infotainment unit. Heated and vented seats and even a performance data recorder are also available.
Offered as a coupe or convertible, the ZR1 is, as ever, the performance bargain of the decade, starting at under $90k in the USA.
