The 1996 M12 was the first car produced by Vector's new Indonesian owners Megatech. Based on the Lamborghini Diablo (also owned by Megatech), and featuring it's 500 hp V12, the M12 was good for 0-60mph in 4.8 sec and a 190mph top speed.

Famed McLaren F1 designer Peter Stevens was bought in to style the M12.

Despite it's good looks and prodigous (for the time) power, the M12 was slated in contemporary reviews. Just 14 M12s were produced over its 4 year lifespan before Vector went bust. Megatech also lost Lamborghini shortly after!
