The striking K1 Attack roadster has a wide and varied history. Originally offered as a kit from 2001, a limited edition fully built 3 litre V6 was sold between 2006-2009, before a change of company ownership and return to kit form in 2011.
The current car is based around a Honda donor vehicle (Accord, Civic or MR2) but can (in theory) take any powerplant you choose. B-Racing state that up to 800hp is possible, with a resulting 0-60mph of around 3 seconds. Weight is well under the 1000kg mark, depending on spec.
The exterior lines of the mid-engined design could be that of a £100k supercar, while the interior may be basic, but can be customised to look the part.
Kits are available from just £10k, but full turnkey cars are fetching from £25k.
SupercarWorld has used data for the most common V6 turnkey manufactured cars. Around 35 of these were sold during the late 2000s.
