Due for launch in 2020, the astounding Battista hypercar will celebrate Pininfarina's 90th anniversary by becoming their first true production car.
The electric powertrain is based on Rimac's C_Two, with a motor on each wheel combining to produce an astounding 1900hp (not to mention the near 1700 ftlb of torque), making the Battista the most powerful Italian production car ever.
With 4WD and torque vectoring, Pininfarina have achieved 0-60mph in under 2 seconds and a world record 8.5sec quarter mile. Top speed? That is 'just' 217mph! Despite this performance, the Battista is claimed to have an optimum range of 450 Km from it's 120kWh battery.
The styling, as you would expect from the world's leading design house, is stunning. Body panels are carbon fibre and aluminium, over a carbon fibre monocoque. Pininfarina's 'Iconica' programme offers owners a huge variety of customisation.
Around 150 Battista's will be produced from 2022, at a starting price of £2m!
