Profile

Debuting at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the Piech Mark Zero is the brainchild of Toni Piech, who just happens to be the great-grandson of Ferdinand Porsche.

Three electric motors produce around 600bhp, enabling the Mark Zero to hit 60mph in around 3 seconds. With a 70 kWh battery and onboard energy recovery system, Piech claim a WLTP range of over 300 miles. Amazingly, the car can be 80% charged in just 4 and a half minutes.

The GT styling is reminiscent of an Aston DB9. Attractive, but perhaps not as forward thinking as the underlying technology would suggest.

Piech intend to launch a full production car within the next three years, to sit alongside a 2+2 saloon and and SUV.
