Profile |
|
BAC more powerful next generation Mono R was launched at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Monotune developed 2.5 litre 4-cylinder engine now puts out 340hp, a 35bhp increase over tha standard Mono. This works out at a record 136 bhp/litre specific output.
Visually similar to it predecesor, the R is distinguished by shaper body lines, in particular the prominent 'shark like' nose and integrated LED headlamps. The whole body is constructed from Graphene-enhanced carbon fibre. Carbon ceramic brakes and a new Titanium exhaust keep the weight down to an impressive 555 kg.
Just 30 examples of the £191k Mono R will be produced, all of which were completely sold out even prior to the official launch!
