The Sian (meaning Thunderbolt) is not only Lamborghini's first hybrid hypercar, but also their fastest and most powerful production car yet.
The Aventador's 6.5 litre V12 is coupled with a 48v electric motor to create a combined 819hp and 758Nm of torque. For weight saving and efficiency, the Sian uses a supercapacitor rather than a battery to power its electric motor.
0-100kmh is less than 2.8 sec, while top speed is in excess of 350kmh, making it fractionally quicker than the SVJ, although in-gear times will be significantly improved.
The Gandini influenced lines of the carbon fibre bodywork are complemented by unique y-shaped hadlamps and a stealthy electrochromic roof. At almost 83 inches wide, it is an imposing sight on the roads.
Even at a cost of around £3m, all 63 examples of the Sian are already sold. Now all we need is a dual-clutch gearbox!
A convertible version joined the coupe in 2020.
