The 4th generation ultimate Mustang arrives in 2020 in the form of the Shelby GT500.
No less than 760bhp is produced from the 'Predator' supercharged V8, sent to the rear wheels via a Tremec 7-speed dual clutch transmission. Standing quarter takes under 11 seconds, while max is a limited 180mph. 0-100mph-0 is a staggering 10.6 seconds.
Awesome 420mm Brembo 6-piston brakes, launch control and selectable drive modes through the adjustable magnetic dampers, mark this out as a track weapon.
Interior features a customisable digital instrument cluster, along with SYNC 3 infotainment system and Track Apps performance metrics as standard.
Amazing performance and value considering the GT500 starts at under $73000 in the USA. Although this can soon hit well over $100k with some tempting options. The optional carbon fibre Track Package adds 20 inch carbon alloys, carbon rear wing and deleted rear seats.
