AC Schnitzer take the BMW M850i and transform it into an aggressive fire-breathing monster in the form of the ACS8 5.0i.
The 850i's twin-turbo V8 is boosted by 90bhp to a whopping 620bhp. No performance figures are quoted, but expect 0-60mph in an M8 matching 3 sec.
Visually, the bodywork sprouts a number of new spoilers, air intakes and new 20 inch alloys that add some aggression to an already good looking coupe. The enhanced diffuser, quad exhausts and boot wing give the rear view a particularly impressive stance. Interior updates are limited to pedal sets and kickplates.
At £30k plus the cost of an M850i (around £95k), the ACS8 5.0 all but matches BMW's own M8 coupe. It will be interesting to see if AC Schnitzer can prize customers away from Munich's near identical flagship model.
