Alpine released the A110S, the more hardcore version of the new A110, in 2019.
Power is boosted by 40bhp on the standard A110, for a 6mph top speed increase, although there's only a fractional improvement in acceleration. The main differences are in the handling, where a lowered ride height, stiffer springs and anti-roll bars give the 'S' a more sporting character. However, surprisingly for a track focused version, weight has actually increased (by 10kg).
Visual enhancements include the exclusive 18 inch all black alloys and optional carbon roof, while the interior has bespoke pedals and a telemetrics system.
Priced from £58k in the UK, the extra £7k over the base A110 seems a little high considering the marginal gains. Still a very desirable car though.
