Ludicrous becomes Plaid, with Tesla's latest range topping Model S. Three electric motors now kick out a whopping 1020hp, to catapult this 2 ton, 5 seater saloon to 60mph in just 1.9 seconds, with the quarter mile arriving just 7 seconds later! Top speed is now 200mph.
It's not just about acceleration either. The Plaid has lapped Laguna Seca in just 1min 30sec, with the promise of more to come. Nurburgring times in the low 7min have been predicted, making it around 30 seconds faster than Porsche's Taycan Turbo S. Range is now almost 400 miles.
Externally, the ultra low drag Plaid grows wider wheels behind flared arches, has a new rear diffuser and a 'ducktail' spoiler.
Internally, an all new landscape screen and 960W audio system dominate the clutter free cabin.
You can order a Plaid right now, but deliveries won't begin until 2021. Just £130k gives you a comfortable 5-seater, that just happens to be one of the fastest accelerating cars in the world!
