Profile |

The original BT62 was an all out track only car. Brabham now convert these race car beasts in-house, to produce the road legal (but still insane) BT62R.
The BT62 has been 'smoothed' for road use, including less aggressive aero, a more relaxed gearbox, road tyres and a ride height lift function. You can even have creature comforts such as padded seats and air conditioning in your thinly disguised race car.
As with the BT62, Brabham have not released performance figures for the BT62R, but expect a sub 3-sec 0-60mph, and a GT2 RS-like Nurburgring lap.
The price of this road legal ability? About £150k on top of the already substantial £1.1m for the track car. If that's still not enough, then you can specify the limited 'Celebration Series' spec, with F1 livery and gold badging!
