Profile |
|
First seen in 4.2L form at the 1994 B'ham Motor Show, the TVR Cerbera took the supercar world by storm with incredible levels of performance for just £38,000.
TVR's in-house lightweight all alloy AJP engine sits at the heart of the mighty Cerbera developing over 420bhp in 4.5L form. Carbon fibre composite body panels developed from the Tuscan racing series give an unladen weight of just 1100kg - going a long way to explaining its remarkable performance figures. The Cerbera 4.5 reaches 100mph in just 8.5 seconds and continues going to over 180mph!
The 4.2 and 4.5 were joined in 1998 by the well rounded Speed 6. Reliability, the bane of earlier Cerberas is no longer a problem - you can expect no more problems with the 4.5 than any other supercar.
