Profile |
|
The fourth generation Supra marked Toyota's first entry into the supercar league and proved a substantial improvement over the outgoing model.
A powerful 326bhp V6 coupled with extensive weight saving measures and electronics such as traction control gave the Supra phenomenal handling and cornering grip. Targa and full 'Aerotop' versions were available along with a plethora of aftermarket styling options including the popular 'Veilside' body kits.
The Supra was discontinued in the UK market from 1997 but continued to be available in Japan until 2002.
