Maserati introduced the second generation Granturismo GT in 2023.
The Folgore version is powered by three electric motors, producing a total of 751hp and almost 1000 ft/lbs of torque. 0-60mph now takes an incredible 2.6 seconds, with a corresponding 200mph+ max.
Even at this level of performance, the Folgore promises a range of around 450km, with a recharge to 100km range taking just 5 minutes.
The bodywork has been smoothed and modernised from the Mk1, with nice accents such as Bronze badging. The interior has all the modern tech and welcome green credentials, such as the Econyl recycled nylon fibre upholstery.
At £180k, the Folgore is not far off double the price of the ICE versions of the Granturismo. Although still represents decent value for money considering what's on offer.
