The DBX's 4-litre Mercedes twin-turbo V8 has been boosted to 707hp (hence the name) and a beefy 663 ft/lbs of torque. This drops the 0-60mph dramatically to just over 3 seconds, with a max in the mid 190s.
The 707 retains the DBX's 9-speed auto, but with a more resilient wet clutch transmission. Tweaks to the eARC suspension system make for a better handling, more agile ride.
Externally, there's little to distinguish the 707 from the standard DBX, save for a more muscular body kit and quad rear exhaust pipes. The interior trim is of the usual exceptional quality of materials and fitment you expect in an Aston, but is unfortunately still fitted with last generation tech.
At just under £200k in the UK, the 707 represents reasonable value for money compared to rivals such as the Urus Performante (£209k) and Ferrari's Purosangue (£313k).
