Profile |
|
First shown as a concept at the 1997 Tokyo Motor Show, the mighty Mercedes Maybach is to become a production reality in 2003. Power is provided by a 550bhp twin turbo V12, which is just as well because this 6.2 metre long limousine weighs in at almost 3000kg.
The Maybach promises unrivalled opulence in it's glass roofed, leather lined cabin. Occupants will have state of the art facilities at their disposal such as electric reclining seats, LCD display screens, modem and satellite navigation, along with the more traditional chilled drinks cabinet with personalised goblets!
Production ceased in 2013 due to poor sales in relation to arch rival Rolls Royce,
