From the outside there is little to distinguish the Ruf R Turbo from it's progenitor the Porsche 996 Turbo. However, underneath is a different story. The 996 may be superfast but the Ruf has performance on an entirely different level. Power is up by over 120bhp and torque up a massive 130lbft. This cuts the 0-100mph dash by nearly 2 seconds and, perhaps more significantly, gives a verified top speed of 213mph.
Styling is subtle and interior trimmings reflect the Ruf philosophy of speed above all. Price is around £130,000 in the UK which, all considered, is a bit of a bargain!
