Let's be honest, the KTM X-Bow is a racing car pretending to be a road car. It's finished in bare carbonfibre and doesn't even have any doors! It is nevertheless, one of the most exciting track day specials around.
Quality in the detailing is superb, as is the engineering thanks to a powerplant and gearbox from Audi. Performance is excellent with a 0-60mph time under 4 sec, while handling is other-worldly thanks to huge downforce from the aerodynamically efficient bodywork.
At £32000 the X-Bow is pitched right at the level of hot offerings from Radical, Westfield and Caterham, but even in this company it looks set to hold it's own.
