The stunning new 997 GT2 RS is not only the fastest, most powerful 911 that Porsche have ever built but its now their fastest supercar ever, surpassing even the fabled Carrera GT.
The RS seems to have combined the best of the 911 family into one stupendous package. The sublime chassis from the GT3 RS, the mighty twin-turbo flat 6 from the outgoing GT2 (now uprated to 611bhp) and further weight saving measures (such as a hi-tech Lithium-Ion battery) work together to produce a simply outrageous driving experience. The numbers alone make impressive reading (0-100mph in just 6.8 sec and a 205 mph max) but it’s the combination of precise steering, traction and stability setup that make this the ultimate driver’s 911.
Production is limited to 500 examples worldwide. Please form an orderly queue!
