Profile |

The awesome 2nd generation Ford GT celebrates a return to Le Mans after a half century absence.
Power is a whopping 647bhp from a (relatively) frugal twin turbocharged 3.5 litre V6. Carbon fibre bodywork and tub will ensure that the GT is super-lightweight for a substantial power to weight ratio. The claimed 216mph top speed and sub 3 second 0-60mph therefore sound entirely feasabile. Class leading aerodynamics (with adaptive suspension and rear wing) will help make it one of the world's best handling supercars - look for a Nurburgring lap time in the very low 7's.
First revealed at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, the GT began production in 2017 at somewhere around the $400,000 mark. Despite Ford (legally) stipulating that owners don't sell for 2 years, a few have reached the used market at well over $1.5million!
