The reborn Ruf CTR is the German company's first fully inhouse developed hypercar and celebrates the 30th anniversary of the illustrious original 'Yellowbird'.
The new 2017 CTR has Porsche 911 DNA, but this time has been completely styled in house, with echoes of the orignal CTR and Porsche's 964. It features a full carbon fibre monocoque chassis, carbon bodywork, ceramic brakes and a potent 700 bhp twin turbo flat 6. As with all Ruf models, top speed is phenomenal. The 2017 CTR hits 224 mph, despatching the hypercar benchmark 0-200 kmh is just 8.9 sec along the way. Enthusiasts will also welcome the retention of a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Despite being a fully bespoke package, the CTR seems expensive at over £700k, but legends don't come cheap!
