The RB5 limited edition Gen 1 Impreza, was created to celebrate Richard Burns' time at the Subaru rally team.
Power from the standard 2000 Turbo was upped to 237 bhp. Someway shy of the WRX Sti, but still enough to give what many observers thought to be the best drivers Impreza of it' day.
Exterior grew a large boot spoiler, while the interior could best be described as functional.
Just 444 RB5s were produced during the single year of production in 1999.
