9ff's astonishing Porsche 997 based GT9-R once held the title of the world's fastest street legal car at 257mph, eclipsing SSC's Ultimate Aero by just 1mph. Limited to just 20 cars worldwide, the GT9-R is available with three power outputs from 'just' 750bhp up to a startling 1120bhp. Phenomenal performance is the result, not only in a straight line but honed for the track as well.
Perhaps not the most practical proposition for the road, but if you yearn for one of the most rapid car on the planet with the odd blast around the Nurburgring thrown in, the GT9-R is definitely the car for you.
