Profile |
|
Introduced in 2001, the new Tamora is the latest in a long line of TVR's offering huge performance through big power in a lightweight body. The Tamora tips the scales at just 1050kg, while the highly tuned flat 6 turns out a respectable 350bhp - enough for standing start times of 4.3sec and 9.2sec for the 60mph and 100mph sprints respectively.
Smaller and more practical than the Griffith, the Tamora has a basic, conservative cockpit compared to TVR's lavish offering of the past. The company concentrating more on the driving experience than with creature comforts. All in all a great package which can lay claim to being the best TVR yet.
2002 saw a mild restyle with body coloured vents and new spotlamps.
