This supercharged version of the well received new Mk II XKR could well be the model to upturn Jaguar's flagging sales figures. With all the dynamic and aesthetic qualities of it's stablemate, plus the small matter of a 500bhp supercharged V8 (in the 5.0 litre from 2009), the XKR looks set to one of the most desirable super coupes on the market.
Bigger brakes, paddle shift gears and mesh grilles distinguish the R from the 'normal' XK. Prices for the coupe start at around £67,500 with UK deliveries expected later in the year.
2011 facelift model modernised the front nose and added bonnet cooling slats, while the interior received a mild retrim.
